In addition, Cenen is an expert in determining the loan spread equivalent, implementing tactical and strategic financial gambits, fraud investigation, FDICIA/ SOX/ FAR/ DFARS/CAS/GAGAS/IFRS/GAAP compliance, arbitrage and bootstrapping opportunities, financial engineering and derivative accounting, sovereign and commercial credit risk modeling, and other strategic functions such as asset-liability and capital gearing management.
Cenen was a team member of a triple "A" rated Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) - Asian Development Bank, which effectively managed its $20 Billion reserves and currency holdings through stress-testing, simulation exercises, currency conversion programs, risk bearing capacity, simplified financial statements, ALM, decisive financial indicators, etc.
Cenen was the chairperson of the Board of Directors of a multi-purpose cooperative (7th largest credit union in the Philippines during his time) - ADBEMC that successfully implemented a balanced scorecard with about 1,300 members.
Cenen was a member of a local team of finance professionals who successfully implemented the GM 1210 and GM 1240 financial forecasting system of the subsidiary of a top-rated multinational organization - General Motors.
Cenen was a team leader of a group of world class auditors at the Defense Contract Audit Agency of the U.S. Department of Defense for auditing some of the largest military vendors in the U.S.A. Europe, and Asia, i.e., with combined resources of over US$ 1 Trillion.
While in Iowa, U.S.A. at LJ Roth Reconstruction, Inc., Cenen generated multi-million-dollar annual headroom/programs. Cenen was the editor-in-chief of the company’s quarterly newsletter and was the first and only Filipino-American to occupy the CFO position in the company's over 50 years of industry experience. Cenen introduced and successfully implemented open-book-management to stimulate productivity across the workforce.
